History & Origin
Lebanese tabbouleh is first and foremost a parsley salad, with mint, tomato and only a small amount of bulgur. It comes from the mountains of the Levant and is a central part of the mezze table; grain-heavy versions found elsewhere reverse its traditional proportions.
